For one Fortune 500 customer AMI builds over 100 assemblies to the finished goods level and, via electronic interface with that customer's order entry system, ships daily to its end users from AMI owned inventory.
This customer invoices its customers upon shipment to them by AMI. In turn, AMI invoices its customer each Monday for orders shipped the previous week. This approach – which translates into "negative inventory" for AMI's customer – is one example of how AMI applies its financial and legal acumen to add customer value.
